Users & roles
Set what each person can do. New sign-ups start as viewer until you promote them.

Description catalogue
Approved descriptions operators pick from when registering items.
Add users (pre-approve with a role)
Enter someone's work email and the role they should have. They sign up once on the login screen and are placed straight into that role — no "sign up then promote" step. To change the role of someone who has already joined, use the Users & roles list above.
People who receive the daily stock-alert digest (out-of-stock & below-minimum items). The digest is sent by a scheduled job — see the setup guide.
Bulk import items (Excel / CSV)
Barcode, Description and Category required. Existing barcode updates the item; new descriptions are added to the catalogue. Optional Opening stock is recorded as a scan-in.
⚠ Danger zone (admin only)
Clears all scan movements so every item's on-hand becomes 0. Items, categories, suppliers and users are kept. Use for a fresh stock take.
Deletes every item (and its stock history) so you can bulk-import a clean master datasheet. Categories, suppliers and users are kept. Do this, then Bulk import your sheet.
